OVERVIEW

General & Getting Started

What is SendArro?

SendArro is a fast, lightweight, browser-based file transfer application. A sender uploads one or more files and receives a temporary six-digit code. The recipient inputs that code on SendArro to retrieve and download the files without needing an account or third-party apps.

Do I need to register or create an account?

No. SendArro is entirely frictionless. Neither the sender nor the recipient is required to register, sign in, or provide personal contact details to complete a file transfer.

Is SendArro free to use?

Yes. SendArro is freely accessible through standard web browsers for peer-to-peer everyday file transfers within supported size and time limits.

Which devices and web browsers are supported?

Any modern browser with standard HTML5 file upload and download support will work seamlessly, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge across desktop computers, tablets, and mobile smartphones.

UPLOADING

Sending Files

How do I send a file?

Choose or drag-and-drop your files into the Send panel on the homepage, click “Send Files”, and wait for the upload progress bar to finish. Once complete, SendArro displays a unique six-digit code. Share this code with your recipient.

Can I send multiple files at the same time?

Yes. You can select multiple files or drag a batch of files into the drop zone. The server allows up to 100 uploaded files per transfer. Multiple files are automatically bundled into a clean ZIP archive for the recipient.

What is the maximum file size per upload?

SendArro supports up to 2 GB per transfer, subject to the server’s configured PHP upload settings.

Are there any restrictions on file types?

No. SendArro does not restrict uploads by file extension or MIME type. You can transfer documents, images, videos, audio recordings, project archives, spreadsheets, and more.

DOWNLOADING

Receiving & Download Codes

How do I receive a transfer?

Go to the Receive tab or panel on SendArro, enter the six-digit code provided by the sender, and click “Download”. The browser will verify availability and immediately begin streaming the file.

How does the six-digit code work?

The six-digit code is a temporary routing token that pairs your upload session with the receiver. Because anyone who possesses the active code can request the download, share it only with your intended recipient through a trusted channel.

How many times can a code be used?

A transfer code is strictly intended for one download attempt. Once downloaded, the transfer is marked as complete, helping prevent repeated access or unauthorized sharing.

How long is a transfer available before it expires?

Transfers remain active for up to 10 minutes from the time they are created. If the recipient does not initiate the download within that 10-minute window, the code automatically expires and the files are scheduled for deletion.

What should I do if a download fails or gets interrupted?

Because transfers are designed for a single download attempt, an interrupted or terminated download may invalidate the current code. If this occurs, simply ask the sender to create and share a fresh transfer.

DATA PROTECTION

Security, Privacy & Storage

How long are files stored on SendArro servers?

Files are stored only temporarily in secure, isolated storage for the duration of the transfer (up to 10 minutes). Once downloaded or expired, uploads are queued for automated cleanup and permanent deletion.

Is file transfer end-to-end encrypted?

Transfers are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections in transit. However, SendArro does not currently implement client-side zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption. If you are transmitting sensitive or confidential data, we recommend encrypting or password-protecting the file before uploading.

What technical information is logged during a transfer?

To operate the service and provide download status to the sender, the system records necessary operational metadata including the recipient’s IP address, browser user-agent, and transfer timestamps. For more details, review our Privacy Policy.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common Issues & Support

Why do I see “Transfer not found or expired”?

This message appears when the six-digit code entered has surpassed its 10-minute validity period, has already been downloaded, or was entered incorrectly. Verify the code with the sender or initiate a new transfer.

Why is my upload taking longer than expected?

Upload speeds depend entirely on your internet connection’s outbound bandwidth and the size of the files being transferred. For large files (over several hundred megabytes), ensure an uninterrupted connection.
